Gucci Collection

D’Amante is an authorized dealer Gucci

In 1921 Guccio Gucci opened in Florence his first store treating leather, luggage and riding goods.
After his work in London he is inspired by the English nobility, elegant and passionate, and his main goal becomes to combine the English refinement to the unique Italian craftsmanship and especially Tuscany.
Many of his clients were initially aristocrats and horse racing enthusiasts, so most of her collections draws inspiration from the equestrian world, making symbols such as clamps, brackets and green-red-green ribbon, icons of the Gucci brand.
During the Fascist period, with the difficulty of finding luxury materials, Gucci starts to experience less valuable materials like hemp, linen, jute and bamboo. With each of these he was able to create collections characterized by a timeless success (see the bag with burnished bamboo handle, still one of the most requested).
The peculiarity of the Gucci brand is to create a total look bold, innovative, with excellent quality, combining it with a craft history from distant origins. Modernity, made in Italy, and tradition are the main ingredients of the Gucci success.
In 1972, Gucci becomes one of the first fashion houses to enter the world of horology. While its jewelry are produced by goldsmiths in Italy, its watches are made in Switzerland; the watchmaking art home.
Since 1997, the Gucci brand creates its first line of silver jewelry, instantly recognizable, and particularly appreciated in the world of global fashion, followed by a second line of more fine jewelry with the use of gold, rubies, sapphires and diamonds, where the luxury and beauty express their full potential.
